Build stage presence. Strengthen your voice. Connect with confidence.
Hummingbird Theatre Company is delighted to partner with internationally respected voice and communication specialist Laura Field to present an interactive online workshop designed specifically for actors.
Whether you're preparing for auditions, rehearsing a current role, or simply looking to deepen your craft, this practical workshop explores the relationship between voice, presence, and truthful performance. Through guided exercises and practical application, participants will develop greater confidence, vocal freedom, and expressive connection.
During the workshop, you'll explore:
- Breath & Focus – Moving from breath into sound, developing focus and freedom of vocal release.
- Physical Ease & Balance – Finding physical ease and balance while releasing unhelpful tension and developing greater vocal flexibility and adaptability.
- Presence, Projection & Expression – Developing vocal resonance, texture, articulation and projection to communicate character, text and emotion with greater clarity, authenticity and confidence.
Ideal for actors wishing to strengthen their vocal technique, build greater stage presence, and connect more effectively with an audience.
Participants will receive

Workshop places are limited to 12 participants, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate, receive individual attention, and engage meaningfully in practical exercises.
