Education at HTC

At Hummingbird Theatre Company, education is a vital and growing part of our creative identity. We’re proud to introduce a new series of online workshops, developed in collaboration with leading industry professionals. These workshops offer accessible, flexible learning across a range of arts-based topics, and are designed to support both individual creatives and educators seeking rich, practice-informed professional development.

Elsewhere, something new is quietly in the works. Our upcoming incursion program will offer tailored in-school experiences for students, blending creative engagement with educational depth. Whether performative, theory-driven, or a fusion of both — the goal is to bring the heart of the arts into learning environments in fresh and meaningful ways.

And finally, for those at the very beginning of their artistic journey, something is preparing to take flight. Fledglings is a program in development for middle and high school students. Watch this space!
